tire chains

The chains I purchased for mine had one link that was twisted. I messed with it for an hour, and couldn't get it to correct itself no matter how hard I tried.

But a hammer, chisel and vise did the trick.

I had 4 or 5 like that on a chain. My neighbor has a set of tire chain pliers he let me use.

Yea I bent them. That was what the tech on the phoneline said to. I think he asked if I was using anything for leverage and I told him no. He didn't believe me and I even had to send them pictures to prove there were no scratch marks on the tool.
