Been fighting this problem for a while now. The left rear TAR of my B7500 leaks out fluid. The air pressure is fine. The dealer says put 35lbs (I think that was the number, it's been a few months), drive around, do a few things then drop pressure to whatever I keep it at (now without my notes I think it was 22lbs). Anyhow, don't work at all... Everytime I park the Bota the bottom of tar is wet.

Well noticed on mine there is a good bit of condensation going on. The rim when weather has been right, will be wet with condensation, enough that it runs down and over tire to ground[not much, maybe a tablespoon or two] but enough to make you look and think you got a leak.

Cold nights, warmer humid mornings[ice tea in a glass thing.

I got so sick of my tires leaking I had tubes put in every tire. Now none of the tires are filled but all 4 have chains. I do a lot of log hauling and excavating and don't miss those filled tire at all...and I live in a low wet area.

That's with a B1750 btw.

Ditto, every piece of equipment I have gets a tube the first time there is any sign of a leak of if I change the tire.

Course that was for both tires not just one.

Who filled your tires? how much have you ran it since getting them filled?

Do you know where the leak is coming from?If you just got a hole,it can be fixed, pretty cheap. If not, that would be something that needed to be found,if it is coming from bead area, than, you'll need to get somebody to take them off and reseat,I guess, and yeah tubes would be the way to go there,if you got to get all that done, won't be real cheap.

The tire ain't leaking air, it's the fill that is seaping out the bottom of the tire next to the rim. Only the one tire, and only at the bottom... regardless of where valve steem is located.
The tire needs re-sealed..somehow.

Tires filled when I bought the mightly little 'Bota 'bout 7 years ago.

well there you go,get a tire man out, break both down, put tubes in both, refill with methinal and water, and make sure one of your tire rims ain't bent or something like that[maybe first].

I think it just needs broke down and re-sealed. Looked and looked and can't see anything that looks bent, and ain't never done nothing to bend it...in the last year anyhow. :)

I think I'll just take it to the tire shop.

Tube should stop leak,so if your going to have to take it off and drain it and all that, better put a tube in it too.

I agree- breaking it down you and clean the tire bead and rim then reseal it should help without worrying about the liquid ballast mess. as long the bottom bead is still intact, you are all set.

breaking down a big rear is a job, but if you do, then clean the bead really well and, if you want, you can use a bead sealer. You may find that this is a winter-time only problem when the rim gets very cold.

An alternative to breaking it down, which you might wish to try is "hydro-seal" which is a slime-like stuff made for loaded, fluid filled tires.

I recently lodged my tractor into a log pile. A log jammed into the valve stem causing the tire to lose 20 gallons of Rim Guard.

I brought it back to the dealer and they put a tube in it, remounted the tire on the rim and refilled it with Rim Guard. Sounds to me that may work best for you as well.

Try another 10-15 lbs of air pressure for a few days. Doesn't cost anything & may fix problem -may make it more visable. MikeD74T
