Tube should stop leak,so if your going to have to take it off and drain it and all that,better put a tube in it too.

I think it just needs broke down and re-sealed. Looked and looked and can't see anything that looks bent, and ain't never done nothing to bend it...in the last year anyhow.

I think I'll just take it to the tire shop.

I agree- breaking it down you and clean the tire bead and rim then reseal it should help without worrying about the liquid ballast mess. as long the bottom bead is still intact, you are all set.

breaking down a big rear is a job, but if you do, then clean the bead really well and, if you want, you can use a bead sealer. You may find that this is a winter-time only problem when the rim gets very cold.

An alternative to breaking it down, which you might wish to try is "hydro-seal" which is a slime-like stuff made for loaded, fluid filled tires.

I recently lodged my tractor into a log pile. A log jammed into the valve stem causing the tire to lose 20 gallons of Rim Guard.

I brought it back to the dealer and they put a tube in it, remounted the tire on the rim and refilled it with Rim Guard. Sounds to me that may work best for you as well.

Try another 10-15 lbs of air pressure for a few days. Doesn't cost anything & may fix problem -may make it more visable. MikeD74T

The tire ain't leaking air, it's the fill that is seaping out the bottom of the tire next to the rim. Only the one tire, and only at the bottom... regardless of where valve steem is located.
The tire needs re-sealed..somehow.

Tires filled when I bought the mightly little 'Bota 'bout 7 years ago.

7 years!!!! Haul it down to the dad burned ole tar store and git it checked out real good!
