Tiny Tach Failure

Oddly enough, got on the PT last night, looked at the Tiny tach and it the readout was clearly fubarred. Hit the button, it all came around to normal, but I lost my total time.

Calling them this AM.

I have had poor luck with the tiny tach's. The 5 year battery is only good for about 6 months from what I have had. Loosing the time is also very common.

Just got off the phone with TT. They pointed to an issue with the way I have connected to the fuel line. They want me to clean the connection, then spray paint it.

Hmmm Battery sounds like a more likely culprit.

Hard to say, they are made to be used and tossed. Sure can't hurt to mount it the way they want.
