does anyone know if there is a quick hitch that mounts to the tractor 3 point, where one can adjust the height of the top hook? I have an imatch, but some of my 3 point stuff wont hitch up due to fact that many implements vary on the top pin placement. I was curious if there was a better quick attach setup that is available. Thanks.

i did, but id like something like the imatch. One that mounts in three places, but has an adjustable top pin. Any idea if something like that exists?

I think it would lose it's advantage then. The advantage I see of an iMatch type system over a Pat's type of system that you can hook up some implements without getting off. If you had to adjust the top link on the quickhitch to the right position you would lose that benefit.

Seems to me that would be worse than Pat's system because you would still have the fixed draft arm width but not be able to hook up without getting off.

Ok, I thought I had responded to this but I guess I didn't do it right. Check out the Speeco quick hitch. Speeco Quick hitch

I have the Speeco (mine has the Tractor supply co. brand on it) and the top link came with bolt/nut/washer sets to hold it where you want it. I replace those with hitch pins and like those a lot better. Now I don't need to look for tools to adjust the height when I change implements. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I would find having to adjust the top hook when hooking up an attachment to my quick hitch, would not be very 'quick' (just my opinion, but it would be a 'slow' hitch instead /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif ).
So, I changed the attachments to fit the quick hitch, and now don't get off the tractor at all (unless there is a PTO to hook up) when hooking or unhooking attachments. A few attachments that I rent, I may need to remove the I-match, but that is becomming less often as the 3pt items are adapting to the specs for the quick hitches.

Green4710,

I agree with beenthere about changing the implements.

I bought a quickhitch at my local Tractor Supply Store (TSC) for $169 or $179 about 2 mos ago. It has an adjustable top link.

Land Pride's quick hitch has multiple positions for adjustment...too many to count.

Micro Pilot,
The Jiffy Hitch looks good to me ... How pricey are they? They are only about an hours drive from here so I may just go see them ... The video is worth looking at. Thanks for the info ... I have done some business with the JD dealer they mentioned in the video ... HOBO Tractor in Lake City ...

I had compatibility problems with my Homier QH. But most of them are now fixed after I bought a LandPride floating toplink assembly. The biggest problem is the inconsistent locating of the toplink point by the various implement manufacturers. But with that little boxfull of LandPride parts, I can now make my Homier QH compatible with all my TPH implements.

I believe it was something like $1300 for 3PT male part and 3 implement female parts.

That is a little pricey! /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif Thanks ... I think that I will go and see the hitch but at those cost I can get a lot of pry bars!
Again Thanks

i like the one i got at tsc (speeco). just set top hook an a position that works with the majority of your implements and then modify any it don't work with. the hook on mine is 3" deep or so and makes up for slight differnces in top link hights. most newer implements have at least two different holes for the top link. the only reason for me to get off the tractor is to hook up a pto.
