three point arms dont raise

A friend has a JD 4wheel drive tractor dont know the model # but its about 90 95 hp . the problem is the three point doesnt work all remotes work everything else is ok it but the lift arms wont raise up they stay in the down position . I get in touch with him get the model # and year . I know this isnt much to go on but maybe someone might know something? thanks Ok Its a JD6410 I think its a 2004 year model hope this helps

The model will make a huge difference. Some are electronically controlled and might have wiring or fuse problems. Some have mechanical linkage and could be disconnected, broken, or misadjusted linkage. Either one could have hydraulic valve problems. Post back with model and symptoms leading up to failure. (was it intermittent at first or sudden failure ...)

Also they have a float control knob down below the seat....rotates left and right to control the speed of the 3 point. if this knob gets turned too far in one direction, the 3 point will not lift. check this knob out
