Thread posting "Submit" seems to hang

We've narrowed it down to a few things. We think we have an idea or two of what is causing it to hang. We don't have a solution just yet, but we're going to look to try to fix it!

I just received an e-mail about someone replying to the Texas Spring/Summer Thread; first e-mail from TBN in awhile.

Turns out the e-mail and hanging issues were linked. The e-mail bone's connected to the thread bone... :laughing:

I find that if I post and it seems to be hanging up, I just click 'Today's Posts' or other link and I find it has actually posted to the thread. If you hit submit again, you get double post. Sorry if this has been mentioned already.

So far, if I hit submit again, it's told me that was already posted, instead of doing the double post.

I'm late to this thread but will add I have also seen a delay on a separate car site I post on at times. Not sure if these are related but you never know.

That's funny, Bird. I started this thread and assumed I was the only poster because I got no email updates. Now, I see that it had a rapidly growing list of responders, all seeing the same or similar symptoms.

THANK YOU Muhammad and Ibrahim for your work and continued excellence on this website. I'm so used to it working perfectly that I'm always shocked when something goes awry.
