I will say this, I have seen some real idiots operating those tractors on the highway. Courtesy works both ways.

I have no problem if someone is driving their tractor flat out and trying to stay off to the right as much as possible... I do have a problem with someone meandering at 5-7 miles an hour taking the whole lane. Luckily that doesn't happen very often.

ABSOLUTELY!! Rush hour, 2 lane interstate between 2 cities, 3 JD's with triples and huge air seeders ! ! Why? Because ND has no "LAW" against it. Common sense and courtesy would be any other time of day.
I asked the law what I had to do to move a shed out from town and I had to do it before 8 AM on a Sunday, but these things that were 3 times the size of that shed, can go at 5 PM on a weekday ??? Growing up on the farm 30 years ago, my old man woulda slapped me for being so inconsiderate.

Think about those farmers tonight when you eat supper. You wouldn't have food on your plate if it weren't for them. Their job don't revolve around a clock, most of it revolves around the weather and harvest season.

Not gonna start a pi%#ing match. We all gotta work together, just tired that for some the rules don't apply. I have the utmost respect for farmers as it is always a gamble, not a profession I would want. But we/they aren't allowed to drive cattle to market thru town anymore, open range, etc. times change. Certain times of day are a hazard, not just an inconvenience.

Those type seems to cause more harm than good...they need to suck it up and deal with it!!!

State and county roads are considered "farm to market" roads for a reason.

I don't see that the fact that farmers feed us has anything to do with it. Truckers keep us alive too, and can't operate any size rig they feel like on the roads. The increasing size issue, should be addressed. With the bigger equipment, often farms are far apart and often there is no ability to pull over and let motorists pass.

Farming on that scale is just big business. I can't run some business on the roadways and tie up traffic.
