I read what interests me, and avoid reading a few posters regardless of the topic. As far as a fuel thread being closed.... Highly unlikely it was closed due to civilized discussion of diesel fuel.
After almost 22 years I still enjoy reading this forum, and find it well managed.

You are an old fart.... If the thread referred to was what I think it was, I kne Moss would close it. The political overtones was it's death.

This forum like any forum has rules of engagement, you break those rules and things get locked. Plain and simple to me. Don't always agree but None of us own the forum either. We are all just guests.

Just the opposite experience here. I've been around the internet, as we all have. Now I only frequent three internet forums with any regularity. This is one of them. All the rest are inferior unless you enjoy bickering, heavy handed moderating and reliably bad information.

I replied, I did not start the thread. I've had things I start that get me put in tractor jail. But if it's a topic that makes them uncomfortable, close comments. If you are gonna let any in, let it all in. Only restrictions sh9uld be no **** 9r swear words. This selective control of the narrative ain't no good.
