Thanks for posting the picture if the garage ice cube, my former boss in Florida sent it to me yesterday morning but I am too computer illiterate to display it on TBN.

Being a Michigan resident, I just had to forward it to my AAA agent, it will be interesting to learn HIS reaction.

We use to sell this little kits that included a electric water valve and switch that you could put by your door. You went on vacation and you turned your water off to the house. No it didn't prevent broken pipes but it does prevent what you see in the picture. Repairing a broken pipe is not tough, but this type of damage is expensive.
