My L3700 SU has R4s and the rears are filled with what I think is beet juice.. Not really sure, The dealer did it when I bought the tractor new in 2011 ish. Anyway.. When It gets cold, The rears get flat spots in them when it sits outside. The first 10 or 15 minutes I can feel them as i use the machine.. It goes away with use.. But besides putting the tractor in a heated garage.. is there a way to remedy this .. ? more air ? Or is it just a matter of the rubber on the tire hardening in the cold and it is what it is ?

It's a normal rubber phenomenon in cold weather. Or any weather for that matter. Rubber is elastic. Car tires do the same thing but less noticeable because most are Radials. Keeping the tires warm will help but the flat spots will still be there--Just less noticeable. It's happening to your front tires too. But less weight produces less compression or "flatness". So, "it is what it is". ;)

Are there tubes in the tires?

I doubt it's beet juice. I run it in my rears here and it's never gotten more than "slushy" in the tires, and it has to get colder than -40 F for that to happen. Coldest it's been here since we moved here in 2011 was -45 F ambient air temp, and the Rimguard (beet juice) was still just slushy.

Totally normal, and unrelated to being filled. If my tractor sits for a week or so it's got a little hop in it for a little while.

Yup.
Same here.
Especially in the spring if the tractors haven't been out for some fresh air in a few months.
The garage mine stand in never gets below 45F even in the coldest weather.

Thanks. Tubes could explain it if they leaked a little and formed an air/fluid bubble between tube and carcass. It would take a while rolling to fully smooth out after parked.
Oh well ...
