Third Function Needed to Run Grapple

/ Third Function Needed to Run Grapple #21
He is/was referring to the solenoid valves most often used for 3rd functions on loaders, they are either ON or OFF. They are plumbed into the main hydraulic lines (Power Beyond) and send the entire flow to the new function when the switch is activated.

Thanks. Not the type of third remote I was talking about, so that clears that up.

/ Third Function Needed to Run Grapple #22
Three points.
1. I purchased a 400# grapple for my tractor specifically due to the lower weight of the unit. My tractor weighs over 6K pounds with loaded tires and has an FEL capacity of over 3500# to full height at the pins. That combination works well.
2. I have a solenoid activated true third function valve operating the grapple. On/off. No problem at all in the operational function of the grapple. Feathering it is a non issue. You mash the button. You release the button. It opens. It stops.
3. You should be able to lift around 500# or so at the pins at full height with the grapple you have chosen. If that is satisfactory performance then you will be happy with the combination.
