Needing some help on a third function install on a LS MT3. The kit comes with a “joint kit” but the instructions never tells where it goes. I’m sure it goes in between the loader and third function valve but I’m not sure of which direction.

Just a guess, but either to joint more valves in series or to enable you to attach the new joystick to the old lever?

The instructions you need are in the Assembly Manual for the loader. As an example, I have attached this manual for a M7040 with LA1153 loader but expect same or very similar.
Working on the M series ( and other tractor) hydraulics requires great care or the main pump will be destroyed.
Your photo of the page with the joint kit is not clear so suggest you post a photo of the real part.
I suspect it may be a power beyond sleeve for the loader valve. How many hoses presently connect to the loader valve. 6 or 7?

Thanks for the advice. I’ll post up some more pictures when I get a chance. The loader valve acts as a manifold, third function mount directly to it with o-rings in between. I’m in North Carolina but actually found a dealer in Alabama willing to help out , they deal with a lot of larger tractors but haven’t ran into this issue yet. Hopefully hear something back today.
