we had couple 5 here in the last few years. wasn't bad just made me think, what heck was that. if i had to go through a 7, i would need to change my shorts. stay safe

Just read Cal Fire has directed thier stations to move apparatus outside. Just in case, you don't want the fire engine blocked by a collapsed station, or broken doors ect. The news station did not, however, mention anything about the majority of the other other SoCal fire stations, which are not Cal Fire...

A number of stations down along the San Andreas have automatic earthquake sensors that open the doors automatically. They supposedly give a 5 to 20 second "warning".
