Bet you have to go through some hoops to get an open-burn permit these days!

Once we get enough rain in the fall CalFire will allow open burning with out a permit. Usually get a good 4 month window. Lots of encouragement to clear things up because fire danger in the summer is real scary.

We have 18+ acres. About half is oak and brush. Lots of poison oak. Purchased the grapple this year. Finally doing some serious cleanup. And getting some good firewood in the process.

Turbine Driver I hear you on the winter rains almost all of my tractor projects have been on hold because it hasn't gotten cold enough to freeze everything and I don't want to destroy the yard. I did that a few years back I don't think it is worth it. Spring is right around the corner. Nice tractor and grapple!

I'm hoping for a warm drier spring. We are supposed to have warmer temps for march to May. We did finally get a little freeze up but now temps are going into the 40's so back to mud.
