I'm glad you like them, Cat!

I'm proud of the strong relationship we have with our current and potential customers.
I think the pics are extremely "eye opening" and helpful to anyone in the market for one of these useful attachments. I talk to customers all the time who appreciate this epic thread for it's informative content, including pics of our grapples on about any tractor you can think of.
Where else could you find stuff like this in the industry? What other manufacturer in the industry puts themselves out there like we do?

Different industry, but it's a perfect example. I purchased new wheels for my truck a while back and LIVED on this site for countless hours before deciding.

The content is simply priceless if you're in the market! THIS is what I relate our great thread to.

Wow! That's a lot of bling on that wheel web site!!

Thank you! Would this be a good fit for a L3301 or should I wait for a bigger model?

I get asked these questions all the time. The following is my general answer, but I often dig into the application more before making a really strong recommendation.

The 55 is the best size match for your tractor in the root rake style.
The dozer-like tine geometry promotes a small tractor's ability to push the tines through the ground with ease.
The root rake style allows you to pull brush, vines and other debris backwards, which isn't recommended with long bottom grapples.

The ultra light weight isn't AS critical on your tractor as it would be with a B series or BX, so you should easily be able to push our unobstructed long-bottom traditional Wicked Grapple tines through the ground.
You will also be able to grab a larger pile of brush and pick up a wider variety of "things" with the traditional Wicked style because you can cradle and physically fit more "inside" it.

A Wicked 55 with the smallest L series(2501) is definitely no slouch!

We chose to put a 50" Single Lid Wicked on my father in law's L3301. The 50" has been an excellent seller and performer for years, so I give it much credit!

...but some prefer the slightly(~50pounds) heavier 54" single lid because of it's 37" opening vs. 30".

These pics show tasks that would be difficult or impossible to do with a rake style grapple. L3301 with the 50" Single Lid.

Some even insist on a dual lid, like Corey here, who has totally raved about this 54" since day 1. His tractor is an L2501.
Wicked impressive!

My all time favorite L Series pic is this rock moving L3301 with a 50" single. The background is spectacular!

I enjoy seeing all the pictures too! The grapples make short work of moving logs around too.

It's kind of like people posting pictures of their tractors on this site. We all know what they look like but yet we constantly ask for pics or say it didn't happen if you don't post a photo. I learned I can open my grapple. Put it over things I want to pick up and with the push of a button it's secured in the grapple and on it's way to the fire

Here's a wicked grapple for a scut or cut on a 100 hp utility tractor. Works great!

I'm glad you like my work, Rusty. It's not so much like work when you can enjoy it!

Man, that just about requires a wide angle lens. That train has to be about 60' long, right?

Thank you Travis for all the excellent pics and info.

I have a set of pallet forks that I use for picking up logs, etc. I like the rake style grapple because it can grab stuff without having to put tines under the objects. I believe you also make a larger rake style rake grapple but it's a little rich for my blood and weighs 400 plus pounds.

Does the 55" rake grapple work on a L3301 or is it a little small?

Thank you

You should understand that a "standard" non rake grapple can easily pick stuff up without putting the bottom tines underneath the object. Just raise the grapple, fully dump so the bottom tines are pointing at the ground, open the jaw, drive forward until the bottom tines just touch the object to be lifted, drop the grapple on top of the object then close the upper jaw. Lift and move. Works very well with piles of small debris that would simply be pushed ahead if you try to stick the bottom tines underneath and scoop as is typically done.

Yes, the heavier EA Root Rake Grapple is a beast in all the right places and is still only in the 400 pound range, BUT...I agree...it is overkill for you.

Our 55 is a great match for you and it totally blows the Land Pride away. Here's one on a Kubota L3901.

I'd have to pull out the tape to see. Trailer is 35+5, truck is 24-25' or so. I guesstimate it around the 67-68' range. That's another reason I went with the 450 was the turning radius is great and can get this around easier.

I'll get some more pics of the wicked grapple (made for scut and cut) on a 100 hp Deere with a big loader and heavy ballast doing some work. If anyone has strength concerns you can rest assure it will hold up

Yes I've seen that operation. Reminds me of a duck finishing. Looks a bit awkward especially when picking up heavy objects like rocks and timbers. Puts a lot of leverage on the loaders dump cylinders.
