Yes, the heavier EA Root Rake Grapple is a beast in all the right places and is still only in the 400 pound range, BUT...I agree...it is overkill for you.

One last question. Do you allow implement pickup at your facility? If so how much money does it save from total price? I'm out of state.

Yes, customers have been really happy with them and those 3 models you listed are VERY popular!

We do allow pickup, but you'd be better off with shipping if you're out of state because of the sales tax situation. We can ship those lightweight grapples as far off as Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa etc. for not much over $100, which is included within 1,000 miles.

A JD dealer in Idaho ordered 2 ultra lights last week and the extra shipping was under $100 for the pair. West coasters should not fear the freight with us!

Just call Travis at the number in their sig for those types of questions. Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure it does save some money. They are a great company to work with and you'll be more than happy with everything

Yes I've seen that operation. Reminds me of a duck finishing. Looks a bit awkward especially when picking up heavy objects like rocks and timbers. Puts a lot of leverage on the loaders dump cylinders.

Not really such a stress. Clamp the load (zero stress) and then curl. Curl power is typically at least as much as lift power so it doesn't stress anything beyond what the loader was designed to do. Certainly less stress than what we all do when trying to pop out stumps by sticking bottom tines under the stump and then curling to relief pressure.

And if you don't want or need to curl then just lift with the grapple clamped in dump position and move the load wherever you want before opening the jaw to let the load drop.

Or a DYI bolt on for a standard bucket. EA already has the upper jaws from the 50" and ?54" singles. An adapter plate is really the only thing they'd need to fabricate a new.

I've thought of a LOT of things to make. Once we get settled in our new facility, we can develop more products and put these new tractors to work with some videos!

I counted FIFTY sold grapples on the lot yesterday. Our small factory is COOKIN!!
