You will get lots of volunteers to take them off of your hands. Particularly the one on the right for me.

It actually saw some action this week!

So sad, Travis has no data or evidence just hype.

1) You ignored the question so I guess we have to announce that indeed Travis has either never used a non EA grapple or that he did and had no difficulty.

2) He's apparently never sold a grapple to someone who found the competition lacking in the grip department either.

3) It's easy to sell a new "feature" when all it takes is smoke and mirrors to make the superiority claim. "Grandad loves it" Good thing for EA that grapples aren't subject to truth in advertising standards.

4) More likely, the "fabulous" EA teeth are simply the result of a manufacturing plan to simplify fabrication.

This thread is becoming nothing more than an EA advertising gimmick. The self promotion borders on nauseating. Sad. MAGA.

Your right this thread is an ea advertisement. You are something else. This is how forums operate. They have advertisers to keep the lights on. They like to promote their product. They don't like having to constantly deal with people that feel the need to run their product down, dissuade potential customers, brag about a mizzoli grapple or constantly run their trap.

You should MTTGA (make this thread great again) by no longer posting in it. Build your own grapple company and do it as you see fit with all the single lids you can do.

Bless your heart...

I'm out. The bickering has gotten down right harsh.

Honestly, until now I've thought Travis (speaking / talking as a company representative, not as a guy) did a great job of staying above it all. Note the UNTIL NOW part. I'll leave it at that.

Man there's over 2600 posts in this thread. Probably 500 are IT being annoying.

I think some want me to speak as a straight and narrow company marketing representative and some would prefer me to be less geared towards selling grapples and more like a regular guy in a tractor forum.

It all boils down to me being a regular guy who enjoys grapples and discussing them in a tractor forum. Getting paid for it is icing on the cake, but you won't find me acting like a PC corporate official.

I totally know Island can take it because we go wayyy back.
Hey, and these 13 hour days would be miserable if I weren't having fun!
Travis

You're a solid guy Travis. You provide a great service and product for the forum members.

Well ......... he is the OP!

I think I recall someone suggested you start your own grapple thread so you can make the rules?

I agree. I don't get it. It's not like IT is a millennial where he thinks everyone cares what he has to say. I guess he just likes interjecting his unwanted opinion about his experience with ONE TYPE of grapple and nobody else has an opinion

Brett

I just realized I missed about 100 posts. I'm sure I'll add more

I've watched this thread over many years. Island has tried to set folks straight over all this time with his single cylinder / single lid talk on a small, lighwiehgt grapple. SPOT-ON!

I've owned a 48" Markham grapple on my 3320 for many years now.....and NEVER felt a need for a larger width or weight grapple. Just saying. Go with the words of someone who has been there.....and Island has your interests at heart. :)

I agree with foggy and support IT's right to speak his opinion, but do we need to stir that subject up now? IT is super knowledgeable with great insight but unless the thread went stale maybe we let sleeping dogs sleep?

If you read my post it said I missed about about 100 posts. I don't know how someone is super knowledgeable when all they know is one little single lid grapple. I have ran several types and there is no such thing as the perfect one for every single situation. The problem I see with IT is he feels it's his place to come into an advertisers thread and and talk down about what EA is doing. They pay to promote their product here. No reason to dog them for that. I hope they plug every thread here if that's what they want. To support the overhead this forum would have wouldn't be possible without charging us or the support from the vendors.

With the loyal following IT has created with yall he needs to take this knowledge you speak up and a make his own grapples. It'll probably be a clone of his own grapple but he's the expert...or John mizzoni (never can remember his name ever though I've seen it hundreds of times) was. Shame he passed on because I bet his double lid would be huge

Double breakaway coupling clamp -- anyone using them?
Where and how do you mount it?

The EA grapple comes with one male and one female. I guess I need to change out one of them.

IMHO they would seem to be extra cost for no apparent improvement in hookup. It's two connections?

The reason for different connectors is so you always hookup grapple same way. If you have 3rd function grapple control, with thumb rocker switch, to open close it will operate same. When I depress top side of rocker switch grapple opens and closes when I depress bottom side of rocker.
