I worked for a life company for 30 years. We did not have a " being stupid" exclusion clause in any our term or whole life policies. An "accidental death" policy may not pay out, but it'd be an interesting court fight...

I bought an old bucket truck with a 40 ft boom to trim the trees around the yard and for anything that requires me to go up high. My original thought was that when I finished doing everything I wanted, I would just sell it again, but I keep finding things to do with it. I've had it for almost 6 years now.

I know someone who's father was a farmer in PEI and he tried changing an outdoor barn light from the bucket of a tractor, shifted his weight suddenly on the irregular sides of the bucket, fell in the bucket and it caused the extended height and the shifted weight on the FEL to to the tractor over and he landed under the bucket being held down by the weight of the tractor, now on its side. RIP
