And here is what a corner looks like painted on one side;
I think the seams will show through a bit, but I am ok with that since it is "just a basement". I have to say the 2" insulation has made a huge difference in my capability to heat fromt he basement. The first cold snap took us down to 26 degrees. I fired up the stove and had the house from 62 to 71.9 in a little over 6 hrs! The highest temps I could reach last winter was about 65/66, so this is quite dramatic. I also used less wood to maintain that temp, so I am looking forward to aol man winter...bring it:mischievous:
