Telescoping hydraulic rams

I have a ram and the scissors setup. The part I don't like is it puts so much stress on the center of the trailer, both dump and frame. I will have to check out sizes and how much of a reservoir it requires. At least I have a place to start. Thanks jr

I am currently rebuilding the dump unit on my 1 ton truck. I am using 2 cylinders, mounted on the outsides of the frame rails. I like this better than the scissor setup. The cylinder grabs the dump unit further out creating a little more stability.
