Hi,
I'd appreciate opinions on the TC 30 vs the B7800. Both with Hyd trans and loaders. I have 2 acres of woods to clean up and 2 acres of level grass to mow regularly. Thanks again, Brett W
ps, price 14,700 for the TC30 (Bush Hog loader)
and 14,652 B7800. (Kubota loader)

Brett,

I have a B7800 that I use to maintain 4 acres near Boone, NC and a TC33DA supersteer that I use to maintain 7.7 acres near Apex, NC. As I recall the TC30 is not a Boomer but a bare bones work horse that is very similar to the B7800. For your size job I would flip a coin for the difference. I will say that the TC33DA is a much more comfortable platform for spending long hours in the seat. The tilt wheel, air cushion swivel seat make it better for mowing in my opinion. Kubota has an excellent engine but maybe no better than NH.

Hope this helps.

I have a B7800 which I maintain about 4 acres mowed. It is a nice machine if you can do without some creature comforts. I have found it to be a very capable machine and have been very impressed with it. I've had it a year and put over 150 hours without any problems. I went with the 60" MMM because I couldn't get the 72" in the shed. The loader is quite powerful for that size machine. The machine is small enough to maneuver around but large enough to acomplish other things as well.

Hello Brett,
The grass you planted must be looking good now! As far as the TC-30 , I bought mine in Lenior, NC about 65 miles up Hwy 321. The local NH dealer was $1800 higher than what I got it at Tarheel Tractor in Lenoir. Mine is not HST but does have a FEL. It has plenty of power and the controls are easy to reach from the drivers seat. I would go to the local guy and drive a few and then call Tarheel and get a price. Good luck.

thanks everyone,
got a B7800 off ebay. looking forward to using it, but mainly next summer. Don't want to smash down the grass too much now.
thanks to all. Brett W
