I am thinking of buying this yr/model w/ 250 hrs and 8 attachments for $8500
but wonder why is this guy having a firesale on this deal. Is this a great deal or one to avoid? I have read of quality issues w/ chinese assembly. Thanks!

What attachments and most important what HP tractor? Does it have a FEL? If no, and less than a 25 HP with no 4 wheel drive its no deal. If its a 25 HP or better and has 4 wheel drive with a FEL I would snatch it up if in good condition.

Where are you going to get parts ? Research your sources for replament parts,that can make a good deal go south.

If it's the TM438 (or TM438E), that sounds like a good deal. Even better if it's got a loader. I believe TMs are rebadged DFAMs (DongFeng). Parts availability doesn't appear to be an insurmountable problem:

Taskmaster was built by DongFeng as Greg mentioned. We have a lot of parts for Taskmasters, the DF tractor we import has many upgrades and some parts are not interchangeable with the Taskmaster, but we have had good support from the factory on parts orders when needed. Shipping gets a little high when having to order from China unless in a container loade, have one shipping around end of October.
