Oil & Fuel Synthetic

Can I use synthetic oil in my B2400 that I just purchased. I use it in all my other vehicles but this is my first experience with a deisel.

Of course, as long as the API classification meets the manufacturerers requirement and the W (10-40 etc)range is correct. A few of the manufacturerer say not to use it till after the break-in period but others say it is OK from the get go.

You will be fine if synthetic is your oil of choice. Just make sure it has the rating for diesel engines and your using the correct weight that Kubota recommends. Hey I'm using synthetic in my new Harley Road King right after the first oil change, no issues what so ever and Harley Davidson says it's so.

I know little on this subject, but I will add this.

I listen to the Road Dog (Truckers) as I travel to and from work each week. I heard a discussion last week where it was noted many, including fleet owners, use only Synthetic oil in their long haul Tractors. They go much further before an oil change.

So I would think it is fine as Gary noted.

I don't see why not i use Shell Rotella T in both my tractors (Kubota M5000DT,JD2210,&my Ford F 250 SD Diesel for over 10 years and no problems Has it been easy doing business with Kubota Or John Deer and which product has the less problems:

As others stated, make sure it is a HDEO with proper C? classification. I use Mobil 1 5w-40 Turbo Diesel Truck. Philip.
