Hello Everyone,

I Stumbled upon this website the other day http://synagrass.tkand I was thinking of installing a synthetic lawn for my front yard. The pricing states it starts at $3.50, which isn't really a whole lot. But I would just like to see what other people think of it before I purchase such grass. They say it has a 5-8 year warranty, but would it look real? is it really worth the investment? Does it look like real grass?

I don't know about you but I think cutting the grass is great, but weeding it can be a pain in the a**, if you know what I mean.

Thanks.

I wouldn't give up tractor time for a fake lawn. I think the weeds would grow up through the turf. You would have to go with the expensive stuff to get the 2" long grass which looks the best. The other stuff looks like carpet for your yard. I would rather spend my money on fuel for the tractor and not worry about the weeds.

I took a closer look at the price for the 2" long grass and it is $8.50/sqft. The shorter stuff does look like a carpet or doormat. Any more input of thoughts?

What do you do when the leaves and other vegitation die and fall on the lawn. Do you have to vaccume up the debris or will it be able to wash through. Also how do go about patching it. With the snow up here I am sure it will get ripped up by a plow or snow blower. If I were you I would want to find out more. Your less maintnience might turn into more work.
