swapping tools on a cultivator

I need to replace some sweeps with "beet and bean knives" as they are called in the JD manuals, AKA weeding knives for close and shallow cultivation on rigid shanks. Any idea where I can look for used ones on the right kind of shanks to fit the rigs of a certain JD cultivator? Mine is a basically the Deere RM4 cultivator from the late 70's.

Local Deere dealer here is where I get parts for my 1953 Pittsburgh style cultivator. Might try whatever local dealer serves the Ag market in your area, or look on E-Bay.

Thanks. The nearest one is 135 miles north and they're not forthcoming. The other one is about that far east and I'll give them a try. Also will keep searching eBay and maybe post something on these classifieds.

Search "Agri-Supply", "Shoupe" (or is it Shoup?) , and/or "Valu-Bilt". They carry a variety of cultivator sweeps and shovels. I'd bet one has something simular to what you need. They all 3 do online sales, have great print catalogs, ship quick, and are reasonably priced. I've bought 'em for my Deere RG4 cultivator from those 3. (Late 60's/early 70's model...Not much different than yours)
