Anyone ever grow it?

Looking to build soil as well as feed deer. Apparently, it is pretty good at doing both. Curious as to amount of seed/acre used as I've seen it from 20lbs/acre to 100lbs/acre. Will probably mow it at 60 days and till it in then plant sorghum for fall/winter food for birds.

Well, ordered 50lbs of sunn hemp (as well as 100lbs of iron clay peas, 50lbs sorghum and sunflower) and will see what we can do with it. Still not sure what lb/acre to use, but only planning on putting it in ~1 acre. Hoping to plant it fairly early (if the cold ever goes away), mow it and till in around 60 days then plant sunflower or corn in same plot.
