I was at a Home Depot or Lowes ( I can't remember which as I went to both) and the sunscreens had JD logos on the backs of them and they are made to fit the JD tractors. The JD tractor has molded holes by the dash to receive the front rods of the screen.

Well I too wanted a sunshade and I'm really not very fond of the fabric type shades, so I got out the old band saw, drill press, tube bender and welder...built some brackets and mounted a golf cart top. Works like a champ. In addition I beefed up the rear towing bracket, as I've seen many of my neighbors bend the back of their lawn mowers while pulling around small sprayers, etc. I've tried to attach a picture, but it doesn't seem to work. If your interested, I can post a series of pictures on webshots and provide a link. DW

There you'll find pictures of my recently sold BX2200, various home built accessories as well as the newly purchased Cub, sporting a hard top (well kinda, it's plastic) as well as a beefed up rear hitch for towing...nothing over 35 lbs. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
