Suggestions For FTP Software

Since 2000 I have used WinTelnet & FTP Pro which was always a pretty easy to use FTP program.

Had a hard drive problem and had to reinstall the program and now it will not function beyond the trial period even though I still have the unlock code.

I have tried the contact information for Insanely Great Software (Adam Stein) but can't make contact, probably they are now out of business.

So can any of you good folks here suggest another easy to use FTP program for my needs?

FTP Surfer. Free and the best I have used out of the 30 or so Ive tried over the last 20 years. Good luck.!

I usually use DreamWeaver, but I still use on occasion both CuteFTP and WS_FTP.

I also have the macromedia pkg but never use 50% of it. I also use the Ws-ftp program. Good and free.

You can also use Internet Explorer. It works well enough.
Just specify.

I been using WS_FTP 95LE for a long while and like it best, but it is getting harder to locate a dl copy. I think I have it on a CD someplace :>? but I'm still suing win98SE as it is a lot more stable on old systems than new versions and don't slow the PC down so bad... also many editing programs have FTP built in. one I used to use was HOTDAWG which has a 30 day free trial... lots of tools and wizzards ect.

I've used most of the programs mentioned, but my hands-down favorite is SmartFTP.

Open multiple connections, drag and drop, overall just a nice clean easy to use program. And free.
