hi ihave a stihl 028 super the oiler has packed up stipped it down thanks to D Animal plastic gears melted how do i test the pump to see if it works or not regards johnstihl 028

If the plastic gears are melted...I assure you there is no point in testing the oiler because it wont work. Get a new one.
