Just noticed today that if I am driving forward, for a long period of time, the reverse pedal acts as if the parking brake is on, and is unusually hard to push. It is greased. Any ideas??

Wacky...

Is this a tractor with HST? My Kubota has a grease zerk under the floorboard...you have to lift up a small section of the mat on the floor to expose the zerk underneath.

Wacky, give the pedals a few hours of operation. Mine were stiff when new. They loosened up quite a bit by the time I got to 50 hours.

Ditto-- new machines are stiff. Mine (rocker pedal) will still lift me off the seat when I push hard in reverse, but that's just cuz I ain't very heavy....

I think I located the problem. The shaft the pedal is on rubs on the FEL mount bracket ever so slightly. I imagine with time it will wear a little and make its own clearance.;)
