Sticking 4 Way Valve

How many have ever had a 4 way valve that stuck in the position You were using? This is on a BX2200.

For example: You had it in the dump position or lowering a front implement and it would not return to neutral on its' own, then You had to manually pull it (lever)back down .
It acted like a spring broke but then it isn't doing this all the time.

It is under warranty and the 4 way valve as everyone knows "Ain't Cheap" /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Let me hear some experiences on this Please.

There was a recent thread on the New Holland user/operator forum regarding a sticky remote lever... Jinman had a problem and got several good responses. I know it's a different tractor but you might find some ideas there. Good luck.

Are you sure your not putting it in the float positions? Based on your description for lowering or dumping, both of those directions have the detent then the float or fast dump depending on which. If I recall in those mine seems to stay. If it is happening on the raise or curl back, then obviously that is not it.

I agree with you that the valves aren't cheap, so if it isn't that I would have it taken care of while still in warranty.

not in the float position, I should have said lowering the implement!

Thanks for the suggestion, I will keep an eye on it and if it occurs again,She is going back to the Dealer for Warranty Repair. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
