The older I get, the more vibration affects my hands. Most notably is tractor steering wheel vibration. After a couple of hours, I get tingling & numbness in my hands & wrists. Doc says it's likely Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Wearing padded gloves helps but not for marathon mowing / plowing sessions.

I was on the L6060HSTC for 6 hours yesterday clearing snow and this morning, I can hardly feel my hands. Anyone else have this issue and know of a fix? I'm going to look into a steering wheel cover to see if that helps.

I used to help my FIL during harvest season by operating his JD combine. It was like driving a luxury car compared to my tractors. No wheel vibration and the cab was quiet enough to hold a conversation. I realize you can't compare a $300K machine with isolated controls to a compact tractor. Seems like something could be done though.

I haven't noticed this on my MX5200 but I would start with a foam filled steering wheel cover and wear the padded type gloves...my second thought is maybe you could add a rubber mounted suicide knob?

Is it just the one tractor or vehicle that the vibrations bother you? If yes I would look at where the vibrations are coming from vs other machines. It sounds like something on your L6060 is transmitting vibration to the steering wheel.

No, the L6060 is no different than my MX5800 or others I've owned in the past. The vibration issue is the same.
Wasn't a problem when I was younger.

I just ordered these to see if they will help:

Some suicide knobs have a rubber attachment...I guess you could use a piece of rubber under any knob. I just bought this $9 knob on Amazon. It will be a second knob as the darn power steering relocates the knob every time it starts and often seems to randomly move it around. I figure with 2 knobs on opposite sides one is bound to be in reach when mowing ;)

I don't think those gloves are going to help you as the protection is on the outside/knuckles, and you need inside/palm.
Have you looked into Faller's Gloves. There are anti-vibration gloves for running chainsaw which may suit you better.

I believe there are anti-vibration gloves for motorcycles to help reduce arm and hand fatigue while riding. Possibly similar to chain saw application.

I have anti vibration bike gloves. I'll try wearing oversized canvas work gloves over them if the pair I ordered won't work. Hopefully, that, in combination with the steering wheel cover, will solve the problem.

The problem I have with gloves is the size. I have very large hands and need a 3XL, which is hard to find in specialty glove brands.

I dont know that the machine is vibrating excessively. I think it is just the nature of the beast. When I mow hay it lasts for hours at a time and when I come to a stop and idle the machine down the clouds in the sky move differently due to the left over "vibration" in me. Takes a few minutes and then quit

I'd try the knob for the steering wheel. Less contact area.
