Would like suggestions how to cut a steep bank that won't break the bank?

I have nice Used 7 and 9 ft cut sickle bar mowers that will mow 90 degrees above horizontal and 70 degrees below horizontal 1$495 to $1895). In addition New 7 ft "EnoRossi" sickle mowers that will mow these same angles for $3695 with cylinder. Also The 5 ft Superior "Micro" with 5 ft bar for $2595 + modest shipping. Ken Sweet

more details ... how steep & large is the bank and are we talking a trimmer, push mower, riding mower, or tractor?

50 ft wide and 20 ft to water. no room for tracter

With an area that small and steep your best bet is probably to do it manually with a string trimmer.

hello triper i had a nieghbor across from my farm. his front yard was almost stright up and down.this is how he did it .he got a pair of golf shoes with sprikes on soles then he got a 2 cycle lawnboy push mower and a long rope. he tied the rope to the handle bar with mower runing he would lower mower over from top then pull it back up and down untill done worked very well the reason for 2 cycle mower was it would not run out of oil. from chips papaw
