I have searched on here and read quite a bit of info and yet i am still unsure.

Can you use 3/8 steel line for the hydraulic lines on a cut?

You should be able to if it's the correct size and meets the pressure requirements.:)

You want .049" wall seamless. Stuff is harder than Chinese arithmetic to work with but it will hold up the best. A second alternative is auto store brake line. Easier to work with but won't last quite as long, IMHO.
