Starting the addition

Here's the slab poured and covered up. It's one of the smoothest slabs I've ever seen. Beautiful job.

Here it is after the second day of framing. There's a fireplace outside on the porch, as well as one inside. The roof is a modified scissor truss, the space is needed for running the HVAC. The walls are 9' tall. The room's approximately 20' wide by 30' long and an 8' porch. In retrospect, we wish we made the porch 10' - 12', but it'll suffice.
