I am a new tractor owner and have little experience. I bought a kioti ck3510 last year. I have driven other peoples and I have rented tractors. I decided to get a quick hitch and saw the great reviews speeco have gotten so I ordered one. I received it and I went to install and the standard 3/4 in pin went through one hole and not the other. I googled and could not find where anyone talks about a tapered pin for the top link. I called speeco and they said a standard 3/4 inch top pin should fit it. They told me to send it back. I sent it back and got another and it was the same with the exception the the hole that the 3/4 in pin fit in was even tighter. Again, I called speeco back and again they said a standard 3/4 in pin should fit. I measured the pin I am using with calipers and it is 3/4 inch. Am I missing something or am I just really unlucky?

I'd guess poor manufacturing tolerances or excessive powder coating on the holes. Just ream the holes a bit and the pin should slide right through.
I would have thought that but in both cases, it was the same hole which was too small. I am not sure that just removing the powder coating will be enough. The hole may need to be drilled out which I was trying to avoid in case something else may be wrong with it which may require I return it.
