As a new owner of what appeared to be a low hour MT18 I was worried when the tractor started blowing blue smoke on the hard pulls. That was the only time the smoke appeared and it smelled like oil burning. I contacted Bill at V.P.P. to get the manuals and also spoke to Lemuel. It ended up being a partially clogged fuel filter that was starving the motor on high fuel demands. After a new fuel filter, oil, oil filter and air filter I now have a happy tractor.
Thanks Bill and Lemuel for you help and advise. Looking for my manuals and hydro filter to arrive.
