Looks nice and simple. Reminds me that if I don't get firewood out of the woods soon I am going to regret it!

What is mounted on the left rear corner of your cab? Is it a radio antenna?
thanks for sharing the picture.

Hurry, it was muddy already!

It is a "bayonet" coupling for the rotating yellow warning light.

Lately those attachment have been poping up at small tractor shows also forestry shows...even offer grappler.

One had to keep tight hitch near the base of the tree when hauling, for if not the tire chains would start the debarking...yikes..also we add a travel chain, chain to lower bar center than hook to home made clevis bolted under the seat, than lower 3 pt.hitch until free from log weight....less strain on 3pt. hitch...work pretty darn good.

Gunnar,
Is that a license plate on the left post of your ROPS? Can you legally drive your tractor on roads?

Anyway, if your implement works, use it! Looks like it works great...Kyle

I've only ever had to skid a few trees, and just used the arch from my post hole auger without the auger attached. Lifts the butt up pretty good and not too close to the back wheels. Probably not strong enough for big honkin trees , but for the smaller stuff it seems to work O.K.

Yes, I can legally drive on roads. It is the license plate. I can even drive on roads with an unregistred tractor, but then just to another part of my property. Between fields.

So what was it originally?

This is what I use for skidding logs with. I need to add a small mast to it though, something similar to yours.

That is one nice set of chains that you've got there. A set like that is in my near future.

And a QA,
And a Small grapple,
