A severe earthquake(7.5) caused a lot of slips. These cows found the only place that didn't slip

So I wonder what the rest of the story is. Was there whole herd and that is all that's left? Or was that all of them and they somehow instinctively knew the safe spot. There are some odd stories out there of animals sensing things in the natural world that we don't.

I understand there was about 19 on that hillside. Another 2 have been found on another pinnacle. They are labeling that earthquake as one of 100,000 slips.
