going out on a limb here.to those that modify their rops,what is your head worth?design is all about geometry.manufacturers dont include any steel that
isnt needed for semi-safe operation.i have a head injured sister.so what is your head worth? michael dunaway

Just posting an update.

I ended up installing a Peterson Mfg. rectangular light on the grill/hood guard. Wired it to the spare terminals in the rear.

Works slick and covers the area, just enough, that was dark when the blade was up.

Wire tied about 10 ft. of cable to existing wiring harness from front to rear.

On the 4310, it comes on with the third position of the light switch.

Here's my light setup. I also have to fold my ROPS down to fit inside a 7' garage door. But 99% of the time, as soon as I pull the tractor out, the ROPS goes up. Once in a while, I leave it down if I pull out to change an implement and then pull it right back in. However, I really don't want to be one of those Darwin Award Nominees because I didn't bother to use the provided safety mechanism that would safe my life in most instances of a rollover.

Between the 4 lights on the ROPS and the 2 headlights, I can light up the night pretty nicely, and am covered whether the plow is way up in the air building a pile of snow, a foot off the ground for transport, or on the ground plowing.

Rear lights also work well to light up the bottom of ditches and holes while digging with the backhoe during the day in the bright sunlight.
