Jeremy Renner is "hospitalized in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow,"

Renner is an actor that I really like. He starred in the Bourne Legacy and is in Mayor of Kingstown which I just watched and am waiting on the next season. I sure hope he is okay. If he is blowing or plwing snow on a tractor that moves him a notch higher on my favorite list. I like him because you never hear any of the rhetoric out of him that you hear from other actors.

The area he was doing snow removal in received about 4 ft of new snow. We imagine he may have driven off the road or got involved in a mechanical accident. Just curious as to what happened.

Heard on CBS and ABC News this evening that Renner's snowcat plow reportedly ran over his leg while he was off it clearing snow.

Renner was in "The Hurt Locker", Hawkey in Marvel movies, starred in " Wind River" (Great Movie) and others. He is a great actor IMO.

Jeremy Renner is now out of surgery after suffering blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries in a weather-related accident. He remains in the intensive care unit in “critical but stable condition,” according to his representation.

It did not sound as if he was buckled in when it rolled over and he was thrown from the cab.

There's a picture of him in what appears to be an ambulance sitting up with some cuts to his face as well. Not sure if it's actually from this incident.

Honestly, I have more respect for him as a human to see he's out there getting stuff done. Prayers out for recovery.

I saw the "weather related" part and thought...what the heck does that mean?

Doing something careless or foolish operating a plow and we blame the weather? It is not like he hit black ice at night and rolled off the road.

Yeah it sounds like he enjoys using his personal snowcat to pack down the sledding hill for his kids, and maybe also plow the driveway. Did it roll over and he fell out? Or did it have a transmission or parking brake failure, allowing it to roll over him? Curious.

And then to top it off, Ken Block's snowmobile flipped over onto him yesterday and killed him. Learned about both of these last night while watching the Monday Night Football interruption as Damar Hamlin's heart stopped on the field and needed AED and CPR. Chilling stuff.

I think he probably just hopped out for a second and didn't shut down the machine and set the brake. If it was sitting on an incline, the tracks may have free-wheeled over him.

Version I heard was he got off to help someone & the snowcat started to roll.
He got run over trying to get back in to stop it.

Yes, heard the same tonight on NBC Nightly News, and that it was a family member stuck in the snow that he was helping when the snowcat started to roll. I think, but am not sure, that the pic I posted in post #5 is of his actual machine with him in it. Looks like you have to step on the tread to get in and out.
