Snow Snow blade options

One problem I have found with the steel pipe instead of the cutting edge is that snow and ice do build up on the gravel driveway over several storms. If a thaw happens you have a good layer of slush to deal with. But the snow blade with pipe takes care of it as well as the 4 in one --in pull mode. Actually I've had the same problem with my F-150 and plow shoes. So i am totally pleased with this first PT-425 Tug Hill winter. I think we are talking ~95 inches of snow here in Feb and these few days of March. Never put the plow on the 150 so far--don't expect to either.

I was wonderig where you got your Hydrallic valve and was it a single spool or a double spool?

Wow, a blast from the past! I bought a $100 used 7 1/2' truck plow - in spots you can see through it but it has worked fine. Just welded a plate to it and used it as it was. I did grab a tractor snow plow that was for sale. I will probably use that one next year. This one will not likely last much longer.

We are using the hydraulic valves that are already on the tractor.

I have a really crappy out of focus picture of mine:

There is a brace welded from the top of the to the plow frame.

I must collect snow plows. I now got a cheap used hydraulic 8 1/2' V-Plow. But that is next year's project. I never even got a chance to mount the JD plow i bought.
