Snap ring size?

I'm trying to figure out what size snap ring I need for the input shaft on a Howse 500 rotary cutter. Bought the cutter used and noticed it was missing the snap ring when I was inspecting it prior to using. I can find the part online and also in parts diagrams/lists, but it does not give any specifics on size. I'm hoping to be able to pick one up locally (TSC) so I can mow.

If you didn't find the snap ring already, go to: www.howseimplement.com. They reference E46 snap ring that looks like what you need.
You might find another rotary cutter by a different company that uses the same gearbox as your Howse.
