Slow loading index page

For a long time now, the forum index page takes 20 -30 seconds to load. This is most noticable when returning from reading a forum. If I go into a forum and read page 1 then 2, then click the back arrow, page 1 takes a very short time but going back to the index takes 20 -30 seconds.

It gets very annoying when reading multiple forums.

I have asked repeatedly for explanations of problems on this board. The only response I get is, "There is no problem here".
It would appear the administrators and the help are no longer hungry enough to care.
Perhaps time for some competition.
