skidder advice

Hello all,

I am looking to purchase a skidder in the 15k range. What should I be looking at mechanically as a red flag to not buy? The terrain is not rocky or really rough although there are some rather steep slopes.

I have never ran a skidder, but I would think having loose articulation joints would be a deal breaker. Also I would check the lug studs holding on the wheels very carefully.
