JD GT275, Kubota BX2380
New poster here, but have been reading the forum off and on for a couple years. Purchased a new BX2380 with fel, rear blade, and grading scraper today. Delivery should be by the end of next week. Can稚 wait to start my driveway maintenance.

It was really a tossup between the BX and a MF GC as I liked them both. I thought the BX was a little more comfortable, but the deal maker was what I kept reading about here - comfort with the dealer. Sometime you just have to go with your gut feeling about dealer interactions.

My sister in law has a MF GC that's new, I have a busted old BX2350. I'd rather my BX. The MF is new, but the controls aren't quite the same, and to me it didn't feel as well thought out. It's a good tractor though, does what she needs. There really aren't bad tractors on the market today, just preferences.

Congratulations. I just got around to doing the 400hr service on my bx1860. My only regret was being cheap and not buying the backhoe to start with (bx25). My little tractor has done a ton of work! I wouldn't be without one now. I like that kubota makes all their stuff instead rebadging things.

Congratulations on your new BX, we have a BX2200 and BX2660 as well as a John Deere 1025R (replaced 2305). On paper, I thought I would much prefer the JD, but don't. It is a good machine, but never has felt right. The BX is certainly not a better machine. Know nothing first hand about the GC except the dealer is pretty bad.

Enjoy your new tractor.

Good choice. My bx2200 is almost 20 yrs and 900 hrs old. It has been a workhorse for me. These days I mostly mow with it since I bought a B series for gardening/lifting duties. I thought about trading the bx for a ZTR, but we have too much history. The most expensive repair (so far) has been the steering hydraulic cylinder that has been repaired once and replaced once. I think this problem could have been avoided if I had used adequate counter weights when lifting big scoops of dirt and gravel. Take care of it and it will take care of you.

Tractor was delivered on Thursday. I used the grading scraper yesterday to smooth out the driveway. Man, that痴 a nice tool. I need more practice with it, but I知 very happy with it so far.
