I have a New Holland TN75DA tractor, it will not shut off when I turn off the key. I have to put in gear and let it die. where is the fuel cutoff solenoid or wires?

It's on the end of the fuel injection pump. Your problem could be a bad ground.

It may look similar to this. (Not sure if the TN75 is the same as your TN75DA)

Check fuses, my MF1250 would sometimes do the same. Was always the fuse.

I know nothing much about your NH but my Mahindra has an emergency manual fuel shut-off at the bottom of the steering column - works like a parking brake release, cable operated to mechanically override the electric solenoid. Sometimes when it's been worked hard in hot weather I have to use it to shut her down fully where the solenoid won't quite do it for some reason.

I found the solenoid and I pulled the wire off and it would shut off, so the solenoid is good. I can't find another wire in the area. The problem was intermittent but now is full time. It sounds like a bad ground that has come completely off now but I don't know where to look for the bad ground.
any ideas?

It seems a number of people are confused about grounding problems. It's a single wire circuit right? That means it's self grounding, so why search for another one? If you remove the wire (removing 12v source) the engine stops. How is that a grounding problem?

What you have is a problem in the power circuit to the pump. Could be any number of things, a shorted diode, stuck relay, who knows? Could be fun to trace without the proper wiring diagram for that particular tractor. There is no "one size fits all" diagram because of all the model variations. Has anyone been working on the wiring or electrical system lately?

One more thought. You might remove the four screws and lift the instrument cluster out. Look for signs of a rodent domicile,

I suggested to check any relays as this happened to me on a small engine this month. Fuel solenoid worked great when bench tested. The issue was with a $16 relay that controlled the solenoid.
