Short links?

How do you include a link like this:
Surplus Center Item Detail

That would just show up as {DIVERTER} in the post?
And why does the software change the title of the link when you copy and paste it? The link I copied above looked like this before I posted...

Could do it with the old software, but can't figure it out know
