I can’t believe the lengths people will go through to avoid paying the store delivery fee. Or sign up for the store pro card with no strings attached and get free delivery.

Those look like they're aluminum gutters as well so there will likely be some paint damage to the truck too . This kind of thing amazes me.

A good idea. The 7-lug was used on the HDPP option with F-250-like maximum loads. 6 lug wheels (the lugs were good enough) were not rated for those loads so by using a 7 lug wheel they kept idiots from mounting wheels too weak to carry the load.

Using a readily available 8-lug wheel would've accomplished the same thing, for a lot less money, and resulted in far less frustration.

I would. Going fast on dirt roads is one of my favorite things to do.

It's a bad idea to strap cheap gutters to probably a $1200 electric side mirror, especially when you're already in a truck.

I believe the trouble is the stupid ghetto tonneau cover. I can understand the desire to have a locking cover for some occasions, but never understood those huge 1-piece hinged jobs, which make the bed totally useless for cargo.

Gm made a 1500HD that was basically a 2500 derated to beat state rules and it used regular 8 lug 2500 wheels.

It does appear that it might be a grade 5 or grade 8 bolt at least!

Also, the bolt appears to be undersized since they had to use a large washer on top, can you see that bolt shearing at 70 miles an hour?
